No, I can't tell you your bank account balance, as I don't know which bank you conduct business with, or the location of that bank. Even if I did, I doubt if your bank would tell me, unless they had exceptionally bad security systems in place. However, there are several ways you can find out for yourself.

  • You can wait for a bank statement to arrive through the mail. Be aware that this may take some time, as most banks only issue statements on a quarterly basis nowadays.
  • Use an ATM or cash machine. You will need your credit/debit card for this. Once you've entered your Personal Identification Number, you will be given several options, one of which will be to check your bank account balance.
  • Go into the bank in person and ask. Again, you will need your credit/debit card and maybe your bank account number.
  • Telephone the bank's customer service hotline. This should appear on any letters you have been sent by your bank.
  • Check online. Most people prefer to use internet banking these days, and it's simple enough to use to check your account balance. If you're unsure as to how to go about this, contact your bank's customer service helpline.
