I heard that we are going to receive out measly, pitiful 25.00 increase on or about the fifth of F@#!^ing never or when the new Pope appears on National Television with a huge gaping hickey on the side of his neck. This could tho just be a rumor so don't quote me.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! My friend in Ohio just checked her online unemployment account and it shows that all her $25 payments for the weeks ending Feb 28, 2009 through now have been processed! In the "Status" column for the previous 10 weeks she claimed, it used to just say "Paid" but now it says "Paid, FAC". (FAC = Federal Additional Compensation, which is the extra $25) The money will be deposited into her checking account on Tuesday. (She always files on Sunday and the deposit always goes in her account on Tuesday.)

When I called unemployment, they told me by the end of April. It's the last day of the month...and still nothing. Every other state got theirs already.

This 25 dollar increase is a law passed by congress and overrides states meaning ohio has to pay the increase, are they stalling t6o get interest probably but they can be sued.every other state paid it . I hope obama gets wind of this.

Just heard on late local TV news that the $25 increases, and the unpaid increases since week ending 02/28/09 will be paid in next weeks checks (for wk ending 05/09/09). Sounds like it's a go finally.

Yeah well... End of the week and I've got nothing new in my bank account. Unemployment within itself is frustrating enough... Why not throw in a little dash of bs from the state gov't to just make my freakin' day!!
