Business to business transactions (B2B) includes the transactions that occur between two businesses, the buyer and sellers are both businesses. These transactions make up a huge percentage of the total transaction in an economy and account for more than the transactions that occur between businesses and consumers. An example of a B2B transaction includes the transaction when a producer purchases raw materials from a supplier. Consider an automobile assembler who purchases various inputs like tyres, windshields and other small parts and all of these transactions occur with another business and can be called B2B transactions. Another classic example of B2B transactions is that when manufacturing firms sell their products to wholesalers who sell it to retailers. Both these transactions involve an exchange between businesses.
