The standards of living differs between the urban and the rural markets. This difference makes both the markets very distinctive from each other. In an urban market customers are more aware, standards of living are higher and customers are more comfort demanding. On the other hand, customers are less aware in rural markets, standards of living are poor and customers are less demanding. In urban markets there is more competition as compare to rural markets. Brand awareness and brand recognition is high in urban markets. Pricing factors can have a lot of impact on the buying choices of customers in the rural markets. Moreover, variety, choices and options are higher in the urban markets as compare to rural markets.
