The Schedule A for the form 1040 of the US Individual Tax Return is used to itemize deductions for the federal form 1040. Schedule A (Form 1040) will be at the upper left corner of the top of the form, Itemized Deductions will be in the upper center of the form and the tax year (ie 2009) will be in the upper right of the form, all in bold print. If you go to irs.gov and the link for forms you can see and print one out for yourself.
