No, it will continue and if there is back support owed then he must pay until that is caught up.Even if it take him past your child's graduation from collage. What he owes he owes.It has to be paid and if he don't then go bak to court. They will take care of him.
My child is 23 and is planning to go to college within 2 weeks. His father was ordered to pay 400 dollars per month, however took me back to court to have payments modified because he was laid off. The judge then ordered him to pay 200 dollars per month due to him receiving unemployment and stated once he began working again I could ask for modification to have payments back to 400 dollars per month. I live in Georgia and the father lived in Toledo. Judge stated I could just put in writing that it was a hardship for me to travel to Ohio, and they could do a conference call. I did exactly that, but when I didn't show for court they denied payments to be increased because they said I was a no show. Also I am to receive his state taxes, however haven't received for past 3 years.
If the child become 19 years old but go's to collage do's the child support stop if there is no back support
My son is 17 and graduates in june and thinking about working for a year and maybe returning to school. Do I still pay child support after he graduates?
