The eligibility of a vasectomy coming under Medicare and Medicaid plans depends on whether you are based in Australia or America - where there are both Medicare insurance schemes in place. Additionally, in the US, there can be different policies concerning vasectomies. In Alabama, a male must be 21 and eligible for Medicaid if he will be able to lower the expense of the operation, as this factsheet explains: medicaid.alabama.gov/documents/4.0_Programs/4.4_Medical_Serv Meanwhile, in Australia, you must be in possession if the surgical procedure will be subsidised by the government.

A vasectomy doesn’t mean that a male will no longer be able to have children in the future. Most organisations which provide these services do offer reversals, and there is also the reassurance that the quality of sexual intercourse won’t be affected by an operation. Indeed, according to the FAQs of some websites, many couples actually find that their pleasure increases because there isn’t the risk of an unwanted conception. If the thought of another procedure to reverse the vasectomy doesn’t sound appealing, storing sperm in a bank in the event you want to start a family is possible, and there are agencies available to help you with this.

It’s also important to remember that although a vasectomy will almost certainly eliminate the risk of your partner becoming pregnant, there are still risks of STDs such as HIV if you are single and having intercourse with other people on a regular basis. Because of this, it’s still advised that you use condoms and other forms of contraception wherever possible to ensure that your quality of life isn’t affected by one night.

Would be nice... Less children born into poverty and subsequently needing to raised and financially supported by more tax dollars than would have cost for the surgery.

Not to mention all the possible legal ordeals the child might manifest for law enforcement due to being a product of their environment.
