There is a lot of Confusion with the stimulus check for 2010, the democrats are trying to use it as a bit of leverage to get votes after kissing Obama's rear on the health bill, too many people got screwed on that deal and a lot of states are turning republican thanks to it. It's Pelosi's fault, she told the democrats if they don't vote on the Bill they won't get any campaign funds, they need to get rid of her and the Moron in Chief.
As to the payment, it is supposed to be issued in May, a lot of people were told when their social security payment is issued, they will get the payment, this is not true, someone close to me just got their social security payment at midnight, and no $250.00 stimulus.
All I can say is wait and see, or yell at your congressman if he or she is a democrat and ask for a increase in Social Security since they screwed us with the health bill.
From everything that I have read so far they really don't know when the SS Stimulus Checks will be mailed or deposited into our bank accounts.I was just reading an update on the SS Stimulus Checks are according to it it will most likely be later on in the year. I sure hope not because I'm like all the rest of you,, I need that check.
Is it true that the Social Security Stimulus Checks have been denied to the disable, elderly and whom ever was qualified? If so, I pray that whomever voted against this bill never or ever get sick, old and have a decrease in their salary,because you will feel and understand the disappointment we have in you now. All of this business about a $250 stimulus check is bogus.It was a whisper campaign put out by the fed government.It got traction and now nobody seems to really know.but I can tell you flat out that it's NOT happening. They bailed out banks,car companies and are adding FED EMPLOYEES(at 60 grand per year)including the IRS (1,700 NEW agents)to enforce the new HC Bill(just passed)but that's it. We're not getting a dime. They got this whisper campaign started so we would think we were.Nope.Not going to happen. It's a LIE.
There are so many lies in the government I wouldnt doubt if this is just one more notch on the old government bedpost to stimulate the private sector to spend money they don't have . Live like you have been and stop counting chickens before they hatch.Even if you do get that check there are millions that need general relief that will no longer get that help as of June 2010 while waiting on a social security disability decision. Some of us need that little 100 a month to even wash clothes and buy toilet paper while we await a decision on disability...so while I feel for anyone elses predicament I'm mad that there is nothing there to help me at all with even the most basic of need bc general relief is cut and I don't have disability yet..count your blessing you have something compared to nothing
People like me that is on Disability. I have heard that there is going to be another stimulus check for $250.00 again for 2010 coming out by Feb, 2010. I was under the impression that this was not passed this year. That no one would be receiving any stimulus money in the mail. Can you please tell me anything about this?
This is just ridiculous!! I need the check and the cost of living raise. I did not get my stimulus check for 2009. I worked all of my life and paid into disability and now the government wants to play with my money. I am so tired of this and there needs to be reform so that people on disability can at least get the cost of living raise every year. Bailouts for everyone else and no raises for hard-working people who worked themselves into disability.
Got a letter yesterday, may 29, 2010, that stimulus checks will be mailed in june 2010, for social security, disability, ssi, medicaid, and medicare recipients, as we will not get a cost of living increase for the next three years. The checks are not mailed in any certain order, such as last two numbers in ss#, or the letter of your last name, etc.
If Social Security stimulus checks aren't going to be issued, they should have gave a raise on the checks in January. Last year I received one in May. So until they decide when, they should give us the cost of living and stop all these lies. I am disable, sometimes my utility bill is over half of my social security.
That my friend is the million dollar question. They say that they are going to send them out in batches but never said when they are going to start sending them out.

How is it that you can take from social sec. Disability pp. And not give something back no raise for ssi or ssd no $250 from the stimulus. Cost of living going up and now. It must be nice to take from disable and elderly pp.that needs it.
Do you think that pp will forget about the stimulus money for 2010. That they said they would get. So why put it out to pp if your not going to give it?.
