I need to track my unemployment check on the dates they were send out because I don"t no the mailing date they were issued
How Can I Track My Unemployment Check?
Got to go to your state's department of labor and training building or call that departments telephone number and get their website where you can apply online for benefits and there should be a link on that websites main homepage able to give you status of a claim that has already been filed.
They make it so confusing...ok..I at least was intelligent enough to get A's and B's in school so...you'd think I could understand the letter I recieved from the Va. Unemployment Comission...I was just laid off my job of 16 years. They can hire someone to do my job much cheaper..at least half of what I was making. The unemployment process...is confusing and frustrating. I've never filed for unemployment..if the situation came up..that I needed to apply for work..I always got work on the same day I left my other job...but this last time....it's hit me hard. Now I'm caring for my mom ..and helping her pay her bills..and trying to pay for my bills too..now I'm layed off..this might mean
mom having to go into a home..which will kill us both.
God help us..but anyway..
My main point to this email was to say that the letter they send you from the unemployment office is confusing..there are a lot of double statements...it' doesn't state clearly what you need to do to get your first check...you call the 800 number on the letter they send you....that gives you another 800 number....then that gives you another number...no joke...I just went through this about 10 min ago...I mean...c'mon..they could make it much more clearer as to what you need to do to collect your unemployment money.
It's stuff like this that cause people to be depressed and burdened..like there is never going to be another happy day....Shame on you Va. Unemployment Services....you need to help people...not kick them in the stomach when
they're already laying in the ditch.
