Since I couldn't get to be the CEO of a large company without showing an abundance of greed -- either personal or on behalf of my shareholders -- I would certainly NOT refuse the payout.
But, since I'm not in the least bit greedy and am appalled at the obvious greed of such people, I'll never be in a position to find out.
That depends. If I as being forced out and people had lost their jobs over my poor decisions, than I would not feel right about it. If I had grown the company and created jobs and income for those that were already there, I would have no problem taking the money.
