I know that it has become increasingly difficult to work with many banks if you are a small business either in start-up mode or trying to expand. I've been able to obtain money for a couple of clients by sending them to third party lenders, private lenders and even the SBA. The SBA can be a confusing route, but there are companies that specialize in getting company owners through the maze of paperwork needed to be considered for the SBA programs.
