I think if the Generation Xers are regarded as stupid,it's because the school standards were allowed to slip.Supporting changes to allow students to become unaccountable for their not learning hasn't helped either.Laziness was unfortunately encouraged as well, when the requirement to make a living was taken away from Generation Xers, by parents saying someone else would support them and take care of them. There is a huge percentage of people who don't mind "just getting by" if no work in involved, especially if it's financially viable. The post-war ethic of "work to eat" would work wonders for them and the whole issue can be laid firmly at the feet of an ineffective school education system.
Why did Alan Greenspan, the former boss of the Federal Reserve say, "Dumb Americans Deserve Unemployment? --- I know why, how about you?
If they can concentrate on there market , like automobile etc introduce products to other counties @ affordable prices and if provide with better after sales support then it can really help em and am quite sure that if they want to recover from any kind of crisis they surely can make it happen
That is not what he said, his actual statement was:
Alan Greenspan, said the reason Gen-Xers are unemployed and suffering from a lower standard of living is because they are lazy, stupid, and unproductive. U.S. Companies would be better off hiring immigrants.
He also went on to point out, outsourcing of jobs, the current unemployment rate, and the deficit. In a way, he may be correct. The Gen-Xers, so named for comming after the Baby Boomers, have not been a very hard working, do what you must, to survive, generation. Ther has been very little creativity comming from this generation to force companies or employers not to outsource. They want the big bucks, not willing to take what they consider a demeaning payscale, even if it means the saving of many jobs, future employment for others, and a stable financial economy.
