Why should workplace proceses and procedures be continually monitored for ohs factors?

To ensure your and your co-workers safety and well being while you work... And so a company can protect its self... In other words it is basicaly so that you do not come to harm while in work conditions, and therefore do not have a reason to blame/sue the company you work for... And if an accident does occur then the company has a certian amount of protection from getting sued... Think thats about right... Lol
