Stakeholders include variety of agents which are affected by the company's success or failure such as shareholders, employees, competitors, general public, economy, government, suppliers, distributors etc. Shareholders are stakeholders as well. Share holders are those entities who have bought shares of the company and have claims on the dividends announced by the company whereas stakeholders include all the entities who have stake in the organization.
