In medical, inflation is the act of distending an organ or body part with a fluid or gas. In case of urinary tract problem, a balloon catheter is inserted in urethra and then balloon is inflated to dilate the urethra. Instead of using balloon catheter, fluid can also be used to inflate urethra. Thick tissue in the lining of bladder mean some abnormal growth which can be cancerous or non cancerous.
