Corporate accounting is the study of financial accounts of corporations and corporate groups. It deals with the major financial decisions of the corporations like study of taxation, acquisitions and liquidation. It also gives the understanding for the preparation of financial statements of these companies.

The content in this course comprises of consolidated group accounts, and major aspects of disclosure. Accounting for investments in associates is also studied in this course. Some of the main areas which are covered under corporate accounting includes International Business, Advanced Financial Accounting I, Introduction to Taxation, Accounting Information Systems and Governmental/Non-profit Accounting.
