Unfortunately, in order to crack k9 web protection, you will have to download another program like 'Olly Debug'.

• Check the software program you decide to download.

Most of the programs that can hack another one are going to be less than safe because they are designed to hack. People tend to provide false programs online. Olly Debug is one program that seems to be worthwhile, although it has not been tested by us.

Once you have a program you feel you can trust you will be able to crack K9. You will need to put K9 into the Olly Debug program by placing the desktop icon over Olly Debug.

• Open Olly Debug

Once the program is open you can run a search for the K9 program. Upon locating it check to see where the uninstall error occurs. If you cannot find it you may have to try uninstalling the program to see if you cannot get a fresher copy to come up.

Since the debut program is designed to fix errors you have to find the one where uninstall will not work. Once you locate it you may see a code that shows up before the error such as JMZ and a series of numbers. A run code without errors may be JMP and a series of numbers.

Basically, you need to change the JMZ to JMP in order for the error code to be removed. Once this happens you should be able to uninstall the program. It may or may not work on the K9 since it sounds like a pretty difficult program to begin with, but this is the best suggestion.

Step 1
Go to the K9 website (see link in Resources) and begin the download by clicking the box on the right side of your screen. This will bring you to the "K9 license request form." Fill out the demographic information accordingly.
Step 2
Check your email for a free K9 license key. Click on the K9 website link in your email and then type this key in or cut and paste it in the correct registration field.
Step 3
Download the K9 web protection software and complete the license agreement. Do not forget to install the software on your computer.
Step 4
Go into the security settings screen and inspect the K9 default settings. This is set at the highest security level and will block all sites that may remotely be considered harmful, including all social networking websites such as Facebook and Myspace. You can go in and remove this setting and only block certain websites or put it on the second highest setting which will block most sites, but not the social networking websites.
Step 5
Set a password you will remember for K9 when you are prompted. You will need this to change or override K9 settings. Memorize it and do not write it down. Do not make it easy for children to guess. Change it frequently.
Step 6
Type the password if you would like to override a website that K9 has blocked, otherwise direct the child to choose a different website. You can tweak the settings as you go along if you feel they are not blocking enough or blocking too many websites. You can select websites by category or by website address.

I figured out how to completely bypass all of it! It even stays on the computer! Note that this hack is for a Mac. So, all I did was search through the "Library" folder of the computer and I found two things that had the word "K9" in it. I deleted them... Then I booted up in safe mode a few times going back and forth between safe mode and the normal mode while opening my internet browser (I don't know if this affected it or not). I also deleted the K9 icon in the application folder (and I don't know if this is necessary to hack it or not either). However, K9 still remains on the computer, and it can be accessed through the System Preferences. K9 has never blocked anything since....:)

Its very hard to hack that program so tell me why you want to hack it and I will say to you how ok

Because my school hired me to test if that was a good enough software to put on students laptops (they are hiring me to try to break through it) and by the way, I can crack the password if I knew where they put the encrypted password. Does anybody know where that is hidden?
