Lets say the price is 24.00
just multiply .07 to the amount
24.00 x .07=1.68
now just add 24.00 to 1.68
24.00 + 1.68= 25.68
and that get your answer for 7% sales tax

Multiply the price by .07.  Add the result to the original price to get the total.  Using the same figure from taimur's answer:              200.00                X.07            14.00

What is the price? Calculate first 7 % of the price.

Lets say price is $200

7 % of 200 $ would be =

7/100 x 200 =
$14

now add 14 to 200

it would be 214 dollars. This way you can calculate the tax .
