As the owner of a company it is your responsibility to provide a safe environment for your employees. This includes proper training of your employees in use of industrial machines. It includes the proper safety features on the machines. It includes the proper maintenance of all equipment and continuing training of the employees. It includes providing proper safety equipment for the employees if needed to complete their job safely. If needed, safety manuals must be provided in the language spoken by the employee. You must assure that no sexual harassment occurs or sexual favors are required in the job performance. Employees should be trained in how to handle an emergency: Fire, explosion, emergency building evacuation etc. Building must be supplied at intervals with fire extinguishers and all exists from the building must be kept open & the pathway clear to them during hours of operation.
