To find out if you have had a county court judgement (CCJ) made against yourself, you would first receive a letter from a creditor. The letter would state that a county court claim has been issued to you. This would detail an amount of money owed by you to the creditor. When this happens the court will decide on the validity of the claim. It could be that they deem that there is no debt that needs fulfilling. If they find evidence that the claim is just then a plan will be worked out for the repayment.
In this event there will be a time limit set for the repayment to be made. If the payment is made in full in this period then you can avoid any judgement being passed against you. The court will send you a claim form, which shows the amount owed and all details of the claim. The form gives an opportunity to explain what the situation is to the court. You need to use the form to show your incomings and outgoings. You can then indicate on the form a desire to pay the full amount in one sum or to indicate a repayment scheme that would suit you. Alternatively you can state on the form that the amount that is being claimed is too great and can therefore indicate the actual amount.
If you do not make an offer on the form, or the amount you suggest is denied by the creditor and court, then the court can order you to pay the full amount straight away or as instalments. From the date on the postmark you will have 16 days to send the payment back to the creditor.

Find out which courts the judgements are registered with and contact them for details of who filed them. So you can follow them to the company that made them. CCJ's usually happen after bills are unpaid and no response is given to repayment demands. They have to warn you so many times before this is possible. It is also possible that you have had some kind of identity fraud if you really don't have anything that could have caused this. Anyway all the detail will be on the report. If you are in the UK try  Citizens Advice for a guide as to what you can do.
