In Texas it depends on the reason for attendance. If Medical and you called in each time then yes. But, if you just did not show up or just left work early then no.

Yes, you can receive unemployment after being fired for attendance! I was fired for calling in too many times but I was @ my job for almost 3 yrs. When I had my unemployment phone interview I told them that I was having car problems/no reliable transportation, witch is the same thing I told my employer...just make sure that you DO NOT lie. The unemployment office will contact your old job to  make sure that your story adds up...
