First, a "timing belt" 'times' the synchronizing of the pistons and the opening of the valves. The closer the values of all the majority of the total workforce, the closer the cohesiveness.  The further apart, the values of the workforce, the further apart the cohesiveness of the employees. For instance, if your workforce is 100% Catholic; they will get along better than 50% Catholic and 50% Muslim; Agnostic; Atheist; etc.
