Make agreement with the credit card company to make minimum payments that are affordable for you also when you make payment never pay by a check always pay by a money order or get a Visa / Mastercard reloaded gift card and pay with one of them you got to be careful of credit card companies. Some people just accept the loss and take it as it comes and let go on their credit reporting for 7 years nothing you can do . Now you can fight it with the Credit Reporting Bureau but you have to contact them and say this debt does not belong to me and dispute it and possibly that will help but very hard to say . My opinion stay away from credit cards and cut them up.

Credit debt can be hard to manage if you feel like you're in over your head, but don't worry. There are lots of ways to make your credit debt more manageable and eventually get out of debt completely. First things first, you'll need to start putting aside more money to pay your debt down. It may be hard, but cutting back for even a few months can have a big effect on your debt amount.

Once you've thought up a strategy for paying down your debt, you can start looking into your options for repairing your credit. When I finally got out of debt, I searched for credit repair companies to help me with this. I found a great list on The Credit Review and was able to get a personal loan a few months later to make some home improvements. If you really want to get out of debt, you can do it, you just have to cut back and be creative!
