Regift them to someone else, sell them, donate them or buy a gift for someone else.  I hope you said thank you to the person that gave them to you. After all it's the thought that counts.

I've decided I have that "it's the thought that counts" saying.
It seems to just be a way for people to excuse NOT thinking about the gift they are giving.

That may be true Walt. But, I always thank someone if they give me something I even if I hate it. I feel like they tried.

Go to the store and stand near the cash out line and make someone's day by offering it to them. Or purpose if they are paying cash to go 50/ 50 with them on the purchase. That way you walk away with some cash and they get a savings.  Win/ win.

Hello Steve! Did you just mention ‘unwanted gift cards’? How can any of these ever be unwanted?! I cannot comprehend this fact to be frank! When I receive them, I always use them up within a few days. It’s just that people who normally gift them know me and they eventually buy the cards from shops with items that I will find interesting! However, you can still sell them to friends or on eBay. Good luck!
