It is investigative accounting. Accountants go over the accounting practices of a business for legal purposes.

Yep. It's really nothing special. Anybody with training to be an accounting auditor can do it ... it's just more in-depth than most audits.

People who are trained to follow money trails within organizations. Usually utilized by law enforcement to find money laundering or tax evasion  . . . Some can even find those supporting terrorist groups.
