You walk into their business with business cards in hand and introduce yourself. You tell them what services you are offering and maybe give an example or two of what you would do for them. Also when you go do NOT go during their peak business hours, or at opening or closing time. Take note of when their business is at its slowest and go then. That is when they would most likely have time to talk to you.
I started an Advertising agency in small town in Tamilnadu. I need to meet smal shop owners to get ad orders. I dont know how to start a conversation with them. How to introduce myself and what should i do if they blindly refuse to talk to me?
How about you find out how they are currently advertising, AND then expand into what they think their target demographic might be, and the area they THINK they are visible compared to how your advertising can increase this . . .
Did you happen to take and marketing classes that might aid you in this direction?
