Yes, they want total house income.
when I fill out application for healthcare.gov why do they want to know income for every one in in my household. I live with parents they won't give me that information? there are not going to help me with medical bills. they are old & paranoid.
Ask them. Get them involved. They'll need to know your insurance in case of an emergency.
Check the definition for "household income" ... It doesn't necessarily include everyone that lives in the same house.
You don't include them unless they file you as a depenedent.
