Just made me want to own my own business. Which I eventually did. Had to fire a few but never laid anyone off.
I've been laid off when work was slow. It mostly happens during winter but things usually pick up. The longest I was laid off was about two months. I've never been fired or written up.

Laid off many times, it's a part of my career in construction. Fired once for doing my job as a union steward, it was reversed and the people that fired me were reprimanded. Verbal warning once, bun never a write up.
