I'm over 55, retired and I just started working on bonsai trees as a hobby.
What hobbies/jobs might interest unemployed people over 55 years old?
It depends on the individual ... But the same hobbies that interest employed people under 55
That is as different as there are that many people who fit into that category. My husband is retired and is over 55. He likes watching movies and playng online poker. I am a little over a year from turning 55, and I like hiking, reading, and photography. While those interests are different, we have traveling in common.
Same hobbies and works as people under 55. I enjoy being semi-retired and my pt job. Exercise 3x, Group cards, sightseeing tours, visiting different museums 1-2x a month and doing nothing.
I'd agree with online poker, passes the time and as long as he's sensible with deposits it can be fun!
