If you are interested in paying someone to co-sign as a guarantor or for some kind of loan arrangement, the short answer is: no, you cannot do this.

Paying for someone to cosign

The liability someone would face if you are not able to meet your payments is extremely high. Baring this in mind, it is likely that the cosigner would have to take the fall for you if you did fail to provide payments on time, and the money they would legally be required to cover for you would most likely exceed the money you paid them to cosign.

Further, somebody who acts as a cosigner for you is essentially vouching for you, and if this person has been paid to do so, without actually knowing whether you are or are not trustworthy, you could face some legal trouble or have your contract negated if this comes to light.

How can I get someone to cosign for me?

The wisest option is to find a close friend, family member/relative to cosign for you.

If you are certain you are able to meet all repayments, and they are aware of your financial stability and your trustworthy character, they may just feel comfortable enough to help you out.

I hope this helps.
