I received 2 different amounts for 2 different properties, I don't directly own the properties, since my dad passed away I got his portion of the bonus for letting them drill for oil and gas on the property, the guy said I had to file it on my taxes this year but said I wouldn't receive any tax forms from them, how do I do this?  Don't you have to have some kind of proof to file? I filled out a w-4 or some tax form on it when I signed the contract/lease. I have tried to file myself online but I get blocked. The guy said for me to file it as if it were my income and I just didn't pay taxes on it. But I am confused how I am supposed to do this without any paperwork from them. No tax forms or nothing. Someone please HELP!!!!

Bring a copy of the check receipt to your accountant go to a pro for your taxes this year, your throwing a red flag on yours with the w-2s not showing enough income.
