The primary advantage of business in public sector is easy availability of funds and contacts to wide variety of individuals in the public sector. The networking in public sector helps individuals to perform wide variety of tasks which cannot be done in the private sector. That is the reason why private business professionals keep good terms with the people in government and public sector. The disadvantage is that most of the quality HR, fresh graduates or youngsters give priority to private sector rather than public sector because of increase empowerment which is usually not granted in public sector. The chances for innovation are lesser in public sector organizations which make private sector quite attractive. However pay and salary packages of public sector are quite satisfactory.
