I think the best way through which you can determine the success of a business is through its annual profits. Get information from businessmen and then analyze yourself about the success or failure of a company. I think the main thing that is important for a businessman is his EBIT, earning before interest and tax. The aim of business should produce maximum EBIT because it shows that the company is having more revenue to cost ratio. I am not talking about EAT, earning after tax because tax and interest is not the headache of businessman. It is the issue of shareholders in a public company, however, in private company tax and interest is also important for businessman. Also, get information about various accounts of the company like Financial leverage, sales etc. Secondly, you can ask question about the current market position and shares of the company. The success of any business is because of Human resource of the company, therefore, do ask about the employee satisfaction which can also show the current and future of a company.

You need to have a resume. It should be neat and on resume quality paper, and you should both send the resume in with your application as well as bring the resume to the interview. Having a copy of your resume handy will make you look more prepared and organized. There are no specific questions that I can give you, but they might ask you about your last jobs. Other things they might want to know about are how do you work under pressure, how flexible your schedule is, do you work well with others, etc. If possible, be as positive as you can be. Go in knowing you are the best for the job, and why. Then half your work is done. All you need to do is to convince the person on the other side of the desk of the same truth.

Depend on type of business and purpose of interview.
Is that for press relies or just personal advice?
If is personal you should ask questions that help you and you will learn some thing of it and you apply for your life.
If is for press relies you should think like journalist "I an not interested about your business but tell me the interesting part of the business for example stolen money he started his business"
