1The first thing you will need to do in order to obtain a copy of your Georgia GED transcript is to obtain a money order in the amount of $5 for each transcript you request. If you would also like a copy of your Georgia GED diploma, you will need to include an $8 money order for each diploma you request.

2Make a formal request from the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education. They are responsible for issuing Georgia GED transcripts. In your request, you will need include the following information:
1) Your Name
2) Your Name at the time you took the Georgia GED Test
3) Your Current Address
4) Your Social Security Number
5) Your Phone Number
6) State the Location where you took the Georgia GED Test
7) State the Year you took the test & the year the GED Diploma was
issued.
8) Mention whether you need a GED Transcript ($5), Copy of a GED
Diploma ($8), or a Miniature GED Diploma ($8).
9) State the Full Address to where you want the Transcript sent
10) Sign and Date the request

3Make sure that you have filled out all of the information in step 2, then mail your request and money order(s) to the following address:
