There are a variety of tests that must be met in order to determine if you are certifiably disabled. These tests are done at the request of the social security administration. You are sent to a variety of medical doctors and is evaluated under their tier system. Some disabilities do not prevent a high quality of life, or prevent one from performing certain jobs. Before applying for disability, gather all medical records and things pertaining to your illness.
