How Many Weeks Do You Get For Unemployment Extension?

In my state,which is Nevada we have High Unemployment RAte..10.4 as of yesterday's news my extension
after the regular twenty six weeks is 33 more weeks for a total of 59 weeks and if I'm still unemployed by the second week of May I might qualify for the State Emergency benefits(SEB).

Depends on what you were awarded for your claim and depends on what state you live in.
The max amount is 79 weeks (both regular 26 weeks and 53 weeks in extensions) if your eligible and state is eligible. Most high unemployment states will get the Max 79 weeks of total UI benefits.

My unemployment benefits just exhausted and honestly I didnt see it coming.  Just wondering if anybody out there, knows what (if any) extensions are available after the inital 26 weeks.  I have to call the unemployment hotline on monday to inquire about it.  So if you have ever tried to call that place, you know what I'm in for...they should hire more call center operators to create jobs-lol!  Just wondering so I can sleep easier and relax while redialing on a busy telephone line for 8 hours... Will there be another unemployment extension once the 99 weeks is done?

I have been receiving unemployment benefits for almost 6 months. My benefits end by the end of the month but I was told that if by that time I still did not have a job I could get an extension. Well I called today to see what I had to do & I was told I did not qualify for any extension because per the new bill extension will only be provided for those whose benefits end before March 30th but because on my case by the 30th I would still 50 dollars on my balance then I wouldnt get any extra help. Can someone please help. What I was told does not make sense at all.
