Sex is pretty much the winner. It even has the support of such institutions as the Readers' Digest which one published this riddle:

"Three of the following words are similar but one does not fit. Which one is it, and why? Man, woman, sex, rug."

Now, just a little bit of nonsense while you stop reading and puzzle with that conundrum before I give the answer. Keep thinking.

And the winner is sex! Why? You can beat a man, you can beat a woman, and you can beat a rug.

Liying, crooked politicians backstabbing, jackals, taking bribes backstabbing, B's cheating, but then again nothing.

Sex is number one.

I'll bet Power is more than a niche market.

I'm binge watching a show on Netflix called "mad men"  and it's all about advertising. So I'm pretty much an expert on the subject now :) nothing sells better than sex cos I said so.

Drugs. Common things if they suddenly lost production and it went way under the demand. Like essential things for living comfortably? Corner the market and jackup the price!

Sex sells? Who sells it. It can be used in advertising like Jan mentioned, but not exactly legal to solicit sex. Of course underground its sold just like drugs are but being illegal it cant go too far on the market. 

Now im a little confused as to how you answer this question.
