The rights to the music of the group, "Katrina and the Waves" have just been sold for £10000000, the buyer wanted "Walking on Sunshine" - a song used everywhere as a sales and marketing tool. What song do you think is worth even a tenth of that?

I hate the way songs almost immediately get used in commercials.  If it is a song I like, it makes me hate the commercial.

The guy that wrote "Funky Town" make about 1 million a year on royalties for many years.  It was written and recorded in three days.

I don't think any song is worth that much.  Songs get annoying really fast and some songs annoy some people for no reason.

There are more commercials that make me say, "I'll never buy that product" than make me interested in a product.
