Depending on the money you have it may affect where you go out with your friends and whether you can afford it or not. It can also make you unpopular if you are poor because you wont be able to go out like most people whenever asked or e.g wont be able to go to a party as you may be unable to afford a present and so you may feel uncomfortable going without one .
