The course of management accounting is very good but it do have some disadvantages. Firstly, supporting most of the students having Management Accounting, I would say that it is tough! If someone does not agree with me then he will be surely very intelligent in quantitative concepts. In practical life, management accounting is used in formulating strategies, enhancing optimal use of resources and preparing budget statements but still it is not able to influence the organization like bringing efficiency through its tools. It is considered more as a method of management control through scrutiny and surveillance. This limits the scope of management accounting. The same accounting concepts are being used again and again and the scope of this subject does not excels or increases. These are the only few disadvantages which I think Managerial accounting have, otherwise it is the major subject in any business course.
