A draft company profile needs to contain the following:

  • Useful information
Your company as a draft business needs to provide useful information about drafting, what your company does and make certain that it is in layman's terms. It should have key personnel, descriptions of drafting and make certain that anyone reading it will find it useful; even industry personnel who may be looking at the site.

  • Personality
Company information can be very dry. In order to set yourself apart from the other companies out there you have to be able to include personal information and make your personality come through. 9 out of 10 websites that fail in the about us or company profile do so because they make it dry to read and therefore no one wants to continue.

The reader finds there is no useful information about who is behind the company. What really matters is who the company has running it and how trustworthy they are. You have to make people relate to you and your drafting business.

  • Unique assets
Lastly you should have some unique assets that are mentioned. What is unique about you or your company? What sets it apart from all others? If you can really show how unique your company is you will most definitely get somewhere in your company profile. You have to think about your company and you for this category to be fulfilled.

Do not just look at what another company has written about itself. You may find you are generic and "obtuse" by doing so. Instead, look to your training in drafting, your credentials and projects you have worked on in drafting that make you special.
