How Can I Find Housing While Unemployed?

HUD.  Hud offers subsidized housing.  Subsidized housing can be as much as 100% rental paid on your behalf.  These are not "group homes" or shelters.  These are regular apt buildings or private owners who have a contract with HUD to provide units for subisdy.

You will find THE POPULAR places (cities, close to transport) are always filled up, but the  complex in the middle of nowhere has openings.  Can be a plus if you always wanted to move to the country/suburbs!

Also...Section 8 is open now and accepting new applicants.  The waiting list  is like 4 years long for some areas but when you get it waht a treat!  The section 8 program is nationwide and allows you to move anywhere.

I can't find a job, I'm receiving unemployment and that's it. And I'm staying with a family that can't let me stay any longer.

Your local council might be able to find you accommodation. If you are on benefits you might be able to get a landlord to rent you a property.

If you have no income and do have children's, you can apply for public housing.
